One fresh COVID-19 case detected, 10 recoveries in Meghalaya

Shillong, Jan 27 (UNI) Ten persons have recovered from COVID-19 taking the number of recoveries to 13,506, while only a single person has tested positive for the viral infection on Wednesday, health officials said.
Director Health Services (MI), Dr Aman War said that the ten recoveries recorded included nine in East Khasi Hills district and one in North Garo Hills district.
He said the lone fresh case detected was from East Khasi Hills, which includes Shillong is the most affected district with 78 active cases.
