One among  killed in AI Express flight accident at  Calicut Intl Airport test positive for Covid-19

Kozhikode, Aug 8 (UNI) One among the 18 passengers, killed in the Air India Express flight accident that occured at Calicut International Airport in Karipur on Friday night has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Kerala Higher Education Minister K T Jaleel said the passenger, identified as Sudheer Variyath, who was on board of the ill-fated flight, has been tested positive.
His mortal remains was at the MIMS hospital, the Minister told the media.
Consequent to this, the Health Minister has advised all volunteers and officials who were engaged in the hour-long rescue operations in Karipur Airport to go in quarantine forthwith.
