Omar takes dig at EC for delaying announcement for Gujarat polls

Srinagar, Oct 21 (UNI) Taking a dig at Election Commission (EC) for delaying announcement for Assembly elections in Gujarat because of floods, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said NDA and BJP pressed for election in 2014 floods in J&K.
J&K witnessed devastating floods in September 2014 and EC announced general assembly elections in October.
“Amazing how that wasn’t a factor when the NDA/BJP pressed for elections in J&K in 2014. There are floods & then there are FLOODS!”, asked the working president of the National Conference (NC) taking to micro blogging site twitter.
