Odisha to develop Jackfruit clusters under PPP Mode with Maharashtra firm

Bhubaneswar, Oct 10 (UNI) The Odisha government has decided to develop jackfruit clusters under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode with processing facilities, in collaboration with Maharashtra-based JackfruitKing Agro Producer Company Ltd.
JackfruitKing Agro Producer Company Ltd. Chairman Mithilesh Desai met Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment K. V. Singh Deo to discuss jackfruit cultivation and processing opportunities in the state.
Principal Secretary, DA & FE, Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Director of Horticulture Kalunge Gorakh Waman, and other senior officials also attended the meeting.

NALCO reports 35 pc jump in Q2 net profit to Rs 1,433 cr

Bhubaneswar, Nov 8 (UNI) National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has reported a remarkable 35 percent growth in net profit for the quarter ended September 2025,with earnings surging to Rs1,433 crore compared to Rs1,062 crore in the same period last year.
