Bhubaneswar, Apr 17 (UNI) Odisha government today announced a new strategy to conduct 5000 sample test in a week for residents of capital city of Bhubaneswar, already emerged as a hotspot for coronavirus.
Announcing the new strategy at a news conference here State Chief Secrteray Asit Kumar Tripathy said Bhubanbeswar has emerged as a critical area as 46 of the total 60 covid positive cases reported from the city alone.
He said the government decided to collect at least 5000 samples from Bhubaneswar within a week to make the city safe for its residents from the covid pandemic.
