Odisha: Three upper primary school students run over by a speeding vehicle near school gate

Bhubaneswar, March 22 (UNI) In a tragic and heart rendering incident, three students of an Upper Primary school were killed and another was injured when a speeding vehicle ran over them while they were standing near the school gate.
The incident took place on Wednesday near the Saradapally Upper Primary School at Binika in Sonepur district of Western Odisha
Police said the students were standing near the gate of the school when a speeding car ran over them after hitting the boundary wall of the school.
While one student died on the spot, the two others seriously injured in the incident succumbed to
their injuries while undergoing treatment in the hospital.
The incident sent shock waves in the locality .The local people caught hold of the driver of the vehicle and handed over to the police.
