Odisha: STF arrests noted brown sugar trafficker

Bhubaneswar, May 30 (UNI) Odisha police's Special Task Force (STF) and Mayurbhanj police have apprehended brown sugar trafficker Sk Mohatab Alli from Baripada, police officials said on Thursday.

''On the basis of intelligence input, a raid was conducted by a team of STF members at Baripada with the help of Mayurbhanj district police on May 29 and apprehended hardcore drug peddler Mohatab Alli, '' STF sources said.

Imphal, July 19 (UNI) The Foothills Naga Coordination Committee (FNCC) has launched an indefinite bandh in Naga-inhabited foothill areas of Manipur from today, protesting the alleged unauthorized construction of roads, the presence of Kuki militants’ camps under the Suspension of Operations (SoO) agreement, and widespread poppy cultivation in the region.
