Odisha Speaker urges to constitute House Committee to inquire into contractual appointments

Bhubaneswar,Feb 26 (UNI) Leader of Opposition Pradipta Kumar Nayak today urged Odisha Assembly Speaker S N Patro to constitute a house Committee to inquire into the issue of contractual appointments made by the state government.
Raising the issue during zero hours, Mr. Nayak said the committee under the Chairmanship of the Speaker should inquire the contractual appointments made by the state government in different departments.
He said the state government said instead of giving regular appointments has been appointing the employees on contract basis with a salary of Rs 8,880 per month and regularizing their service after six years.
