Odisha plants 75 lakh trees as a gift to PM Modi on his 75th birthday

Bhubaneswar, Sep 17 (UNI) As a special gift to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced that the state government is planting 75 lakh trees across the state today.
Taking to his social platform X, Majhi wrote, “On the occasion of the birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, we are undertaking the campaign 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' by planting 75 lakh trees across Odisha. This is a special gift from the people of Odisha to our respected Prime Minister. Each tree symbolizes our gratitude for Modi Ji’s dedication and commitment towards Odisha, while also reflecting our pledge to protect Mother Earth. Let us plant a tree and be a part of building a healthy and prosperous Odisha.”
In another post, Majhi recalled that exactly one year ago, on Prime Minister Modi’s birthday, the Subhadra Yojana was launched in Odisha under his guidance.
