Odisha moves to finalise EV Policy 2.0 to lead India’s green mobility drive

Bhubaneswar, Nov 13 (UNI) Odisha is set to finalise its Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy 2.0 following a stakeholder consultation meeting aimed at strengthening the state’s position as a leader in clean and green mobility, in line with the vision of Viksit Odisha 2036.
The meeting, chaired by Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary of the Commerce & Transport Department, emphasised the importance of inter-departmental coordination and active private sector participation.
It also proposed amendment to the Odisha Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy to finalise the Odisha EV Policy 2.0. Padhee highlighted the need for capacity building and policy alignment to ensure a smooth and inclusive transition to electric mobility across the state.
