Odisha govt. destroying Buddhist heritage, monuments: Gyanendra

Bhubaneswar, May 21 (UNI) Odisha government has made a conspiracy to destroy the rich Buddhist monuments and heritage located at Sukhuapada hill of Lalitgiri in Jajpur district, Bharatiya Mahabodhi samiti, National Vice President Arya Kumar Gyanendra said here on Saturday.

Addressung newsmen here on Saturday, Gyanendra, alleged that the government has leased out the hill to the state owned Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) to mine khandelite stones for beautification of temples at various places destroying the Buddhist monuments and heritage.
