Odisha government. asked to extend EPF benefits to Mid-day meal, Asha and Anganwadi workers

Bhubaneswar, Feb 22 (UNI) EPFO Bhubaneswar has asked the Odisha government to extend the benefits of EPF & MP Act 1952 to the honorary workers such as Mid day meal workers, Asha and Anganwadi workers in the state.

Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner, Regional office, EPFO Bhubaneswar, Maushumi Lata Padhi has issued direction to Commissioner cum Secretary, Labour and ESI department of Odisha government on February 20 to extend the EPF benefit to the mid-day meal workers, Anganwadi workers, and Asha workers in the state.
