Odisha Gov honours Sudarsan Pattnaik for winning Russian Grand Sand Master Cup 2026

Bhubaneswar, Jun 16 (UNI) Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Tuesday felicitated Padma Shri awardee and internationally renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik for winning the prestigious Russian Grand Sand Master Cup 2026 at the International Festival of Sand Sculpture held in the Kaliningrad region of Russia.
Congratulating Pattnaik on the achievement, the Governor said the artist has created history by becoming the first Indian sand sculptor to receive the prestigious international honour.
He remarked that the achievement has brought immense pride to Odisha and the country while further strengthening India’s recognition in the field of art and culture at the global level.

Meghalaya leads Northeastern, hilly states in NITI Aayog’s regulatory ease rankings

Shillong, July 19 (UNI) Meghalaya achieved the top spot among all the Northeastern and hilly regions in the regulatory ease category of NITI Aayog’s first-ever Investment Friendliness Index (IFI).
According to the report released by NITI Aayog, Meghalaya secured a score of 8.5 out of 10 under the Regulatory Ease pillar.
