As per the scheme, construction workers who have attained the age of 60 will get a monthly pension of Rs 300 and a pension of Rs 500 per month would be given to construction workers above the age group of 80. To avail the pension benefit, a construction worker must register himself with the Shramik Kalyan Board for at least five years.The widow and disabled construction workers are also eligible to get the benefit of the pension scheme but for them the mandatory five year slab will not be implemented.Please log in to get detailed story.Tags: #Odisha CM launches pension scheme for construction workers
