Odisha clears 24 investment projects worth Rs 3,793 Crore, creating nearly 20,000 Jobs

Bhubaneswar, June 6 (UNI) Odisha on Saturday approved 24 industrial investment proposals worth Rs 3,793.33 crore, paving the way for the creation of 19,924 employment opportunities across the state.
The approvals, granted at the 147th meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg, mark another significant step in strengthening Odisha’s industrial ecosystem and accelerating job-led economic growth.
The projects span a diverse range of sectors, including steel and metal downstream industries, renewable energy, advanced materials, electronics and electric vehicle (EV) components, textiles and apparel, tourism and hospitality, infrastructure and logistics, food processing, consumer products, chemicals, and emerging technologies.

No prescribed uniform for Bihar teachers, but dignified attire mandatory: Deputy CM

Patna, July 21 ( UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary on Tuesday clarified in the state Assembly that there is no prescribed uniform or specific dress code for teachers in government schools. However, teachers are supposed to attend educational institutions wearing dignified and appropriate attire befitting the teaching profession.
