Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Feb 3 2016 5:24PM Odisha BJP Mahila Morcha demands judicial probe into atrocities on womenBhubaneswar, Feb 3 (UNI) Odisha state BJP Mahila Morcha today demanded a judicial inquiry headed by a sitting judge of the High Court into the rising incidence of rape, atrocities on women and women trafficking in the state. Senior BJP leader and state party vice-president Surama Padhi said the Morcha would launch a protest week in March next and later resort to agitational path if the government did not concede to the demand. Ms Padhi said crime against women had significantly increased during the BJD rule and in 2014 the state figured in the fifth position in rape and fourth position in women trafficking in the country.
