Odisha: 17 custodial deaths reported in last three years- Minister

Bhubaneswar, March 20 (UNI) As many as 17 custodial deaths were reported during the last three years in Odisha, Minister of State for Home Tusharkanti Behera told the state Assembly on Monday.

While replying to a question of Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia (BJP), the Minister said during the period 9495 rapes, 4243 murders, 38,329 theft and 1692 dacoity cases were registered.
