Octogenarian recovers from COVID-19 in Meghalaya

Shillong, Oct 24 (UNI) An octogenarian who was under treatment at the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) after testing for COVID-19, was discharged on Saturday after recovery here in Meghalaya.
87-year-old H. K. Lounghani had tested positive for the viral infection on September 29.
NEIGRIHMS, Director, Prof (Dr), P Bhattacharya informed that Lounghani did not have co-morbidities but since he couldn't cope up with his oxygenation so he was taken to the Intensive Care Unit.
