Observation of 52nd Engineers' Day started

Ambassa(Tripura), Sep 12 (UNI) Week long observation of 52nd Engineers' Day was started and continued through different programmes in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here.
The programme was whistled off through discussion and presentation against superstitious believes and practices at local Industrial Training Institute (ITI). The students performed a pantomime 'We want pollution free green planet'. Later a quiz on scientific awareness was also held.
In the afternoon, a friendly cricket match was held where Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat Councillor Jitendra Bhattacharjee remained present as the Chief Guest. On Thursday, a cleanliness drive was conducted at Salema market area and a friendly football match was held.
