Objectionable post: 93 arrested in UP post Ayodhya verdict

Lucknow, Nov 11 (UNI) Altogether 93 people have been arrested so far for posting objectionable or provocative posts on social media platforms after the Supreme Court's judgement on Ayodhya case. In the past 24 hrs, 16 more were arrested, monitoring committee reported on Monday.

Now the total arrest has reached to 93 and FIRs touched 53.

During the past 24 hours, action was taken against 2,555 posts on the social media which were removed.
Till date action has been taken against 10,830 posts .

Of the objectionable posts identified during the past 24 hours, 1,701 were posted on Twitter, 777 on the Facebook and 77 on YouTube video and profile.
