OBCs hold rally in Nagpur opposing Kunbi certs for Marathas

Nagpur, Oct 10 (UNI) Members of the Other Backward Classes (OBC) communities today took out a massive rally in Nagpur demanding the cancellation of the Maharashtra government’s order to issue Kunbi caste certificates to eligible Marathas, which would enable them to claim reservation benefits.
Organised under the banner of Sakal OBC Maha Morcha, thousands of protesters from across the state marched through the city, urging the government to withdraw its September 2 Government Resolution (GR) permitting the issuance of Kunbi certificates to Marathas based on entries in the Hyderabad Gazette.
The rally began at Yeshwant Stadium and concluded at Samvidhan (Constitution) Square, where demonstrators raised slogans asserting that OBC reservation was their constitutional right and warning against any dilution of their quota.

Pune Nov 15 (UNI) While winter chill is knocking the door the environment at the Kharadi campus of Dhole Patil Education Society witnessed the rise in the temperature and energies resulting in the creation of an all new Guinness World Records, achievement for ‘Largest Audience at a Campfire storytelling’. 4,623 individuals including the students and their parents participated to set a new Guinness World Records feat while listening to the historical stories about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj alongside the specially created campfire at the record attempt venue.
