Nurturing Students’ Education is everybody’s responsibility : Janardhan Reddy

Hyderabad, Jun 13 (UNI) Nurturing students’ education is everybody’s responsibility, said Dr B Janardhan Reddy, IAS, Secretary-Education, Government of Telangana.

Speaking at the session on ‘CSR for Education in the Urban Context: Creating Evidence; Ensuring impact’ , organized by Confederation of Indian Industry, Telangana in association with Pratham, Dr Reddy mentioned that in Telangana about 60 lakh children are studying in Schools and for every 17 children there is one teacher in Government schools. About Rs 15,000 crore is being spent on education every year by the State Government.
