NUJ, DJA demand Rs 1 cr aid to Tarun Sisodia's family

New Delhi, Jul 9 (UNI) The National Union of Journalists-India (NUJ) and the Delhi Journalists Association (DJA) have urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to grant Rs one crore to the family of late Tarun Sisodia, a journalist of Dainik Bhaskar.
Also, a request has been made to give job to his wife Monika Srivastava.
The letter sent to Mr Modi on behalf of NUJ President Ras Bihari, DJA President Rakesh Thapliyal and General Secretary K P Malik said that Sisodia was admitted for treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here, as he was Covid-19 positive.
The letter said that the media world is saddened by Tarun’s death under mysterious circumstances.
The NUJ and DJA have demanded the PM to set up a judicial inquiry into the death of Tarun Sisodia.
Mr Bihari, Mr Thapliyal and Mr Malik have said that the truth of Sisodia's death cannot be revealed without a judicial inquiry.
