NSUI activists burn MP CM in effigy

Bhopal, Feb 3 (UNI) National Students Union of India (NSUI) activists today staged a demonstration and burnt Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in effigy in support of the demands of guest teachers.
According to a statement here, several NSUI workers led by district president Ashutosh Chouksey gathered at the Board Office Square and raised slogans against the state government.
NSUI activists demanded that guest faculty be paid fixed salary and honoraria of at least Rs 800 per working day. Besides, the protestors demanded that guest faculty should not be assigned other work apart from education-related work.
