NSF seeks Rio’s immediate intervention on key issues

Dimapur, Oct 9 (UNI) The Naga Students Federation (NSF) has sought the Nagaland government’s decisive intervention on some key issues facing the state.
In a memorandum to chief minister Neiphiu Rio today, the NSF highlighted the Indo-Naga political issue, influx of illegal immigrants, rampant illegal appointments, upgradation of Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu, indigenous representation in Nagaland University and National Institute of Technology, Chumoukedima, e-governance and transparency in administration, students & youth empowerment for self-reliance, repeal of AFSPA from the Naga homeland and scrapping.
It called for advocating for the integration of all Naga territories in line with the historical and political aspirations of “our people” and facilitating and supporting political dialogue at the highest level without preconditions for a lasting and honourable solution.
