NRL hands final dividend to Assam govt

Guwahati, Sep 21 (UNI) Numaligarh Refinery Ltd. (NRL) today paid a total dividend of Rs 168.01 Crore to Assam government for the financial year 2017-18, against its equity shareholding of 12.35 per cent in the Company.
The final dividend cheque of Rs 22.71 Crore was handed over to chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal by MD NRL S K Barua, in presence of Directors and senior officials of the Company.
This dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 145.31 Crore handed over to the state government in the last financial year 2017-18.
