New Delhi, Jan 19 (UNI) Days before the presentation of the Budget 2020-21, the Union Finance Ministry is now set to start a unique social media campaign explaining several economic terms to the commoners from January 22.

"Curious student Arth unpacks his box of questions in Prof. Shastri’s class. Let’s see how Dr. Shastri tackles his difficult questions with her sharp insight. Tune into this space to join the classes starting 22nd January @ 11am," tweeted the Finance Ministry in a pinned missive.

The hashtag used will be #ArthShastri.

The programme will be undertaken through interesting animated videos to help common citizens and students understand budget exercise in a simple way.

'Arth' in Hindi means 'economy' and in the animated video would be a curious student by that name while Dr Shastri will pose as a teacher.

The ministry also undertook similar exercise before the Budget last year.

The Finance ministry has also launched another campaign on Budget promises and delivery with tag '#HamaraBharosa'.

"Taking India to New Heights: Building 'Housing for All' by 2022. #HamaraBharosa," went another missive from the Finance Ministry.

The Budget for 2020-21 - second by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman - is expected to be presented on February 1, 2020.

"Indian Railway worked in a mission mode to eliminate all Unmanned Level Crossings (UMLCs) on Broad Gauge. #HamaraBharosa," says another missive from the Finance Ministry.
