Now, girls can also join ‘Kickoff,' registration till Feb 22

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 16 (UNI) Girls can now join Kerala’s ambitious football training programme 'Kickoff,' as part of the state government’s policy of creating a level-playing field in the sports domain.
Girls born between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2008 can enrol for the programme. The registration is open till February 22, the details of which are available on the website www.sportskeralakickoff.org
The preliminary selection will be held at the Government Girls High School at Payyannur in Kannur District, on February 23, at 7 am. A total of 50 candidates will be chosen for the final round after the initial round of ground tests, which includes speed test.
