Notification for second phase  issued for poll process in 8 seats of UP

Lucknow, Mar 19 (UNI) The Election Commission (EC) has issued notification for the second phase of polls in eight seats on Tuesday, where polling would be held on April 18.
According to EC sources here, 1.40 crore voters, including 64.92 lakh females, would exercise their franchise in the second phase at 16,162 booths, from 0700 hrs to 1800 hrs. There would be 2,61,221 voters in the age group of 18-19 years, while 2.50,470 voters in this phase are above the age of 80.The nominations of the second phase will continue till March 26 and on the next day, scrutiny of papers would be done. Candidates can withdraw their nominations till March 29.
The second phase seats include Nagina Amroha, Bulandshahr Aligarh, Hatras, Mathura, Agra and Fatehpur Sikri.
