Notices to 103 nominees in MP

Bhopal, Jan 21 (UNI) Notices have been issued to 103 candidates, who fought the recent Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, for not having furnished expenditure details in the prescribed period.
“A total 2,899 aspirants contested across 230 constituencies. Such persons are required to submit accounts – within 30 days of the declaration – to the District Election Officer concerned in the format prescribed by the Commission. A report was dispatched to the Election Commission of India,” an official release quoted Chief Electoral Officer VL Kanta Rao as saying on Monday.
