Normalcy restored in Tripura's Shantirbazar area after communal tension

Ambassa, Jul12(UNI) The communal tension in the Shantirbazar area in the bordering sub-division of Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai has begun to ease.
Due to the quick remedies from the part of the administration, the area that was engulfed by tension and disbelief between the tribal and Bengali communities was relieved to a great extent, the officials sources said.
Further, the local businessmen decided unanimously this morning to open their shops and offices to help normalcy to drift back into the locality.
Common people, too, have taken sigh of relief and are hoping for the peaceful situation to prevail uninterrupted.
