Nobel Prize Series will inculcate scientific temperament amongst students: Goa Governor

Panaji, Feb 19 (UNI) Goa Governor Mridula Sinha on Monday expressed hope that the Nobel Prize Series which was held in the state recently will inspire engagement in science and inculcate scientific temperament amongst the students.
Addressing the Goa Legislative Assembly, budget session of which began here, she said,''I am immensely please to inform that Goa was chosen to host the Nobel Prize Series India 2018 in collaboration with Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and Novel Media, Sweden. This prestigious series saw a healthy interaction with students and teachers.''
''We hope to increase such scientific awareness about the Nobel Prize Series and simultaneously inspire engagement in science and inculcate scientific temperament amongst students,'' she said.
