No truth behind Chandrababu Babu Naidu’s allegations: BJP AP incharge

Kakinada, Feb 12 (UNI) BJP Andhra Pradesh incharge V Muralidharan clarified on Tuesday that there was no basis or truth behind the allegations leveled against centre by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and all are politically motivated.

He told media that either in funding of Capital city Amaravati or the Polavaram project, there was no lapse on the part of the center.

"The fault lies with the state government. It has failed to submit the utilisation certificates on time. It is surprising that Mr Naidu who spoke high about Prime Minister Narendra Modi right on the floor of the Assembly and also on other forums describing him as the most efficient administrator in post independent era and also welcomed special package in lieu of Special category status has taken ` U ’‘ turn only due to political reasons. The truth behind the latest postures of Chandrababu will soon come out .The people are the better judges and give him the fitting lesson in the hustings," he added.

Claiming that the past four years eight months period has witnessed unparallel and unprecedented development in the country’s history, Muralidharan said that BJP was emerging strong under the able leadership of Narendra Modi and was confident of retaining power with peoples support.

When asked the reasons for entrusting the responsibility of execution of Polavaram project to the state government which is totally funded by the center, he said , the BJP was committed to strengthening of federal system as such gave such opportunity.

He sought to justify forging alliance with the TDP for the second time in the state during past two decades period, by saying that it was guided by political compulsions and local situation. Muralidharan has further clarified that there were no contradictions or inconsistencies’ in statements of both Amit shah and Narendra Modi on the quantum of assistance extended to Andhra Pradesh during past four and half years.

"Both statements are correct. while one figure relates to total funds sanctioned , the other includes the funds in pipeline. Let Mr Naidu submit the utilisation certificates for the funds received before blaming the center," he remarked.

Later he has launched the 'Mera Parivar- BJP Parivar' campaiagn by hoisting the BJP flag atop of the residence of Chitneedi Srinivas party town secretary.
BJP district unit president Y Malakondaiah, official spokesperson Padmaja, Parliamentary constituency incharge Thota Sarvarayudu, state council member Pydah Venkatanarayana, IT cell secretary Peddireddi Kiran, state kisan morcha president Suryanarayana Raju were among those attended.
