New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Four days after Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was accused of having misbehaved inappropriately towards his co-star Sanjana Sanghi, the actress on Tuesday said the charges are baseless and no such incident happened with her.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Sanjana who was in the United States and returned to Mumbai on Monday said,'On returning from a long trip to the US yesterday, I read several baseless and unfounded stories with respect to misconduct and misbehaviour on the sets of our film Kizie Aur Manny. I'd like to clarify that no such incident took place with me. Let’s put an end to these conjectures.'
Earlier, Sushant has already denied all the allegations and shared screenshots from the messages exchanged with his co-star and called the charges just a smear campaign.
'I feel sad to reveal personal information but it seems that there is no other way to state what actually happened, in the midst of this curated, well timed and agenda driver smear campaign. From the first day of the shoot till the last day, this is what happened on the sets with Sanjana. Misconduct ? Not at all. Agenda ? You decide,' Sushant had said in a tweet.
