No shortage of urea in Punjab : Spokesman

Chandigarh, Dec 27 (UNI) Punjab faces no shortage of urea as 85 per cent of it has already been made available to the farmers during current rabi season, an official said on Thursday.
Punjab requires 12.50 lakh metric tons of urea in the current rabi season till January 31, 2019 against which 10.60 lakh tons of urea has already reached the state.
Another 40,000 metric tons of urea will arrive in the state in next four days. Balance quantity of urea has already been tied up to arrive in the days to come.
