No respite from chill, Srinagar at minus 4.3 deg C coldest in Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 30 (UNI) Chilly winds continued in the Kashmir Valley, where summer capital, Srinagar, was coldest at minus 4.3 degree, more than two notches below normal.
Although sun was sometime making brief appearance from behind the clouds, icy cold winds continued in the Valley, where there is possibility of end of about six month long dry spell on January 3.
A Met Department spokesperson told UNI that weather will remain dry in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 72 hours.
