New Delhi, Mar 19 (UNI) In a second advisory within 10 days, Election Commission on Tuesday directed all political parties to advice their campaigners and candidates not to indulge in any political propaganda involving activities of the Defence forces.
“The political parties and candidates are advised that their campaigners, candidates should desist, as part of their election campaigning from indulging in any political propaganda involving activities of the Defence force”, the Commission said.
The poll body on March 9, had issued the first advisory to all political parties, asking them to desist from displaying photographs of Defence personnel or photographs of functions involving activities of the Defence forces in advertisements by candidates and political parties.
