Shimla, Mar 27 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minsiter Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday stated in the state assembly that no probe is being received in the Vigilance Department from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) regarding affairs of Sardar Patel University about the appointment of five faculty members in the university.
Replying to a starred question raised by Congress member Chander Shekhar (Dharampur) Chief Minister said in a written query that a copy of complaint received by the sate vigilance and anitcorruption Bureau on October, 17, 2022 from a Vipin Guleria S/o Sh. RS Guleria also addressed to the Prime Minister.
The complaint been sent to the Ex Officio Vigilance Officer, Higher Education for taking further necessary action. Mr Thakur said higher education department has informed that the reply from the Sardar Patel University was received and the complainant has been called for hearing.
