No nominations filed for phase one of LS polls in UP: Notification for second phase tomorrow

Lucknow, Mar 18 (UNI) With no nominations filed on day one for the first phase of Lok Sabha polls in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, the Election Commission of India (ECI) is geared up to issue notification for the second phase of polls in eight seats on Tuesday where polling would be held on April 18.
ECI sources here said that not a single nomination has been filed for phase one in 8 constituencies for which notification was issued on Monday morning.
On Tuesday, notification for the second phase of polls to be held on April 18 in 8 seats would be issued.
