No merger proposal received from Congress, clarifies Supriya Sule

Pune, June 13 ( UNI): Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Working President and Member of Parliament Supriya Sule has dismissed speculation about a merger between the NCP and the Congress, stating that no such proposal has been received from the Congress leadership and that there have been no discussions within the party on the matter.
Speaking to reporters, Sule said she was unaware of the source of the merger rumours. Her remarks come amid ongoing political discussions and speculation over possible opposition realignments ahead of future elections.
Sule also launched a sharp attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing it of pursuing a strategy of engineering splits within opposition parties. She alleged that after divisions in the Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party, similar tactics were being witnessed in relation to the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC).
