Nivar Cyclone : Trade unions drops proposed agitation on Nov 26

Puducherry, Nov 24 (UNI) All trade unions in Puducherry have dropped their proposed agitation on November 26 in view of the ‘Nivar’ cyclone which is likely to cross here on Wednesday.
The agitation by the trade unions here was in response of the nation-wide strike by them to protest against the policies of Central government, including labour laws.
Trade unions in a joint statement said that they propose to join the agitation to press for their ten point charter of demands pertaining to Puducherry including provision of Rs.7500 a month towards Covid relief.
