Patna, June 13 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday directed the authorities concerned to execute all pending schemes in the state as soon as possible.
Kumar while addressing a meeting of ministers and officials concerned, directed the authorities to complete all pending schemes in the state. "All concrete steps should be taken to implement ambitious project of the government to provide irrigation facilities to all plots of Bihar," he added.
"Providing piped drinking water facilities to all households in Bihar, is an important component of seven resolves of the state government," the chief minister said adding that special care should be taken to ensure proper implementation of this scheme.
"Work for installation of prepaid smart meters should be completed soon as it was good yielding good results," he stressed.
All Ministers concerned including two Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha besides senior officials were present in the meeting. It was the first high level meeting convened by Chief Minister Kumar after Lok Sabha elections results were declared.
