Nitish launches 'dial 112' number for emergency response service

Patna, July 6 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday launched 'dail 112' number for immediate response service in any emergency situation like crime, accident and breaking out of fire in any part of the state.
Kumar while launching the 'dial 112 service', said that the command cum control centre in Patna would work round the clock to receive phone calls from any part of Bihar. All arrangements had been made for immediate response to any call made from any part of the state seeking assistance in any emergency situation like fire, accident and crime, he added.
" A total of 400 vehicles equipped with latest gadgets like GPS and cameras for videography of the incident, had been positioned in Patna and other district headquarters of the state", Chief Minister said, adding that other areas would also be covered in the next phases.
