Nitish Kumar claims to have worked for all classes of Bihar in poll campaign

Patna, Oct 17 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today claimed that he brought all class and region in the mainstream of development during his regime for an overall progress of the state.
Addressing electoral meetings in favour of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates in Aurangabad and Rohtas districts Mr Kumar today highlighted the welfare activities of his government for development of women and other hapless sections of the society.
He opined that for an overall progress of the state every section of the society need to be developed equally and his government concentrated on development of rural as well as urban areas.
Appealing to the people to support him on the basis of the developmental activities taken up by his government he reiterated his promise to provide lodging facilities to the old people after coming back to power.
Claiming selfless service to the humankind as his prime mission, the Chief Minister assured to bring Bihar in the list of developed states by implementing seven resolves part II and claimed that other states have adopted several of the unique work taken up here.
Highlighting the efforts of his government aimed to improve the educational scenario of the state he said that women education was on the top of the agenda and several schemes where launched for the purpose.
For further promoting women education Mr Kumar said that the incentive of Rs 10000 would be enhance to Rs 25000 for the girl students passing out class 12th and Rs 50000 would be given to those girl students qualifying graduation examination.
Mr Kumar promised to improve the quality of education in the educational institutions and maintained that technical education would be provided to the youth for making them self-dependent.
Highlighting the achievements of seven resolves part one, he reiterated to provide irrigation facility to each and every field, construction of new roads, flyovers and bypass for better connectivity along with others under seven resolves part two after coming back to power.

Kolkata, Apr 20 (UNI) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has suspended two police officers of OC rank in West Bengal. Those suspended are officers-in charge of Saktipur and Beldanga police stations in Murshidabad district. They failed to contain violence on April 17 in their respective jurisdiction.
