Patna, Jul 2 (UNI) Expressing deep sorrow over the death of 26 people in separate lightning incidents at different places in Bihar, the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh to the kith of each deceased.In his condolence message, Mr Kumar said that he was with the bereaved family in this hour of crisis. Directing the authorities to pay the ex-gratia he appealed to the people to take all precautions and remain cautious during bad weather conditions .He also appealed them to follow the instructions of the disaster management department for such situation.
The condolence message stated that in lightning incidents, 7 people were killed in Samastipur, 6 in Patna, 4 in East Champaran, 3 in Katihar, 2 in Madhepura and Sheohar and one each in in West Champaran and Purnia.UNI RS AKM
