Nitish government insulted Hindi poets

Patna, Nov 26 (UNI) Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Saturday accused Nitish Kumar government of insulting Hindi poets, a brazen display of crushing freedom of expression.
Modi said here that some Hindi poets were to participate in a programme of recitation of their poems, which was organised at world famous cattle fair of Sonepur in Bihar on Friday.
The local administration did not allow a noted Hindi poetess Anamika Amber Jain which angered all poets present at the function who left the venue in protest without reciting their poems even though a large number of people were present as audience, he added.
