Nitish did nothing for Bihar in 20 years as Chief Minister: Kharge

Sasaram, Nov 7 (UNI) Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday launched a sharp attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, alleging that despite holding power for 20 years, he failed to bring any real development to the state.
Addressing an election rally at Chenari in Rohtas district, Kharge said that Nitish Kumar has been Chief Minister nine times, yet unemployment continues to force the poor of Bihar to migrate to other states for work. He has done nothing substantial for Bihar’s progress.
The Congress chief claimed that nearly 50 lakh government posts remain vacant across the country, including around 10 lakh in Bihar, but the state government is not conducting recruitment drives. Most employees are being hired on a contract basis, denying youth stable employment, he accused.
