Nitish coins new slogan Efficient Bihar-Self Reliant Bihar

Patna, Sep 25 ( UNI) After announcement of poll schedule for Bihar assembly elections, the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday gave a new slogan "Efficient Bihar-Self Reliant Bihar" saying that after completing Seven Resolutions part - 1 as promised during assembly elections -2015 he would now go to the public seeking another chance with promise to launch Seven Resolutions part - 2.
Mr Kumar told news persons at JD (U) party office that under seven resolutions made during assembly elections held in 2015 he had promised for providing 35% reservation to the women in all government jobs, water supply through pipelines and construction of lavatories in every household, Bihar Student credit card scheme, self help allowance skilled youth program, electricity to every household and pakka streets and drains up to every house. Claiming to have completed majority of the assurances made by him Mr Kumar said that rest of the work would be finished by October this year.
The Chief Minister said that based on his achievements he would go to the public with a promise to make Bihar an efficient and self-reliant state and added that seven resolutions part 2 would be on the top of his promises during the election which he would launch after coming back to power.

Meghalaya records three COVID-19 deaths, 20 new cases

Shillong, Nov 27 (UNI) Meghalaya on Saturday recorded three deaths due to Covid-19 related complications, that of persons who were not vaccinated against the virus, increasing the number of fatalities to 1471 and 20 new cases of infection, which added up to 308 active cases, health officials said.
