Nitish asks officials to keep vigil on black marketing of fertilisers

Patna, Jan 07 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today directed the officials to keep strict vigil on black marketing of fertilisers in the state and take stern action against those involved in it.
Mr Kumar, addressing a meeting convened here to review availability of fertilisers, directed the officials to keep strict vigil to check black marketing of fertilisers particularly urea. Those involved in it should be booked without any delay to ensure availability of urea for farmers, he added.
Chief Minister also talked to Union Fertiliser and Chemical Minister D V Sadanand Gowda on phone and requested him to make available urea in sufficient quantity required by farmers of the state. Mr Gowda assured him to ensure availablity of urea from the Centre as soon as possible.
