NIT Mizoram & IIT Madras launch New India Internship pilot in rural development

Aizawl, Dec 13 (UNI) The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Mizoram and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras have partnered for the New India Internship (Pilot) 2024 programme, aiming to explore how technology can address rural challenges in Mizoram.
This collaborative initiative will focus on issues such as energy, water pollution, health, agriculture, education, environmental sustainability, and digital governance.
The six-month pilot programme commenced on December 12 with an inaugural ceremony at NIT Mizoram’s administrative building.
